​Kenny Amato is a singer/songwriter from Kettering Ohio. Influenced  by such artists as Pink Floyd, 

Peter Frampton and Led Zeppelin, Kenny has a strong desire to reach his listeners with singing lead guitar solos and powerful deep rooted lyrics . " It is important to me that my music not only has the catch to keep you interested but that my words are heartfelt and real. I want my songs to be fun and inspiring  but also relatable, maybe to help someone through the trials that life puts on us or just as an escape  from the day.

Taking a feeling and using it to create something real and alive so that others can experience what we had in our hearts in that moment is what makes art rewarding."

Kenny began his musical journey at age 5 with piano and later found his love for guitar while attending church with his Mom Nancy and Grandma Sarah.  It was clear after weekly listenings of Paula  and her 12 string playing hymns in the chapel that guitar spoke to Kenny in a way nothing yet had. At age 12 Kenny received his first guitar and his uncle Phil Amato started him  off with lessons of "Stairway to Heaven" and Beatles sheet music. At Age 15 Kenny would form his first band " Diamonds  in Cielo" that consisted of drummer Steve Reichard and rhythm guitarist John Morgan. After being disqualified for playing over the allotted  time frame with their cover of "Free Bird" at their High school talent show, Kenny would return the following year better and stronger adding fellow bandmates Norman Dimitrouleas "Primer Grey" on keyboards,  Dino Dimitrouleas on bass and Michael Fisher on guitar to win with their rendition of Peter Frampton's  "Do you Feel Like we Do".

Drummer James Heaps would later join and the name of the group would change to "Crimson Sage" named after now wife of Kenny, Heather "Sage "Amato. Kenny began writing music early on in his career and was introduced to Reggie "Moon" Morgan Of 1Paper Moon Productions and Deep Records. Reggie helped to guide and mentor Kenny into a solo artist as producer of his first recorded album "Fallen Me" under the name Amato. Kenny has continued over the years to record and perform with his band Amato consisting of drummer Paul Bair and bassist Franklin Streb. Kenny has also worked with various talented artists associated with bands like internationally known funk band The Ohio Players, nationally touring jam band The Werks, Y Tank, and recently recorded and performed with Tony Herdman of the  Tony Red Band on good friend Norman Dimitrouleas' tribute album "Dream of a Memory". With 2017's From the Dark album released and future  albums Broken  'which is a Rock opera 18 years in the making" started with friend and keyboarder Norman Dimitrouleas and will consist of various musicians  who have worked with them over the years.  Also "Elapse of Time" which is a throw back to his early work, Kenny is now focused on the recording and release of his written work.
